TravelManagers was the only home-based company to receive the ‘Top 5 in sales’ award, recognising the company’s significant sales contribution for both 2013-14 year and 2014-15. Another award acknowledged the company as a member of Cruiseco’s ‘Million Dollar Club’, also for the second consecutive year.
“It’s hard to believe TravelManagers has only a second year association with Cruiseco. The significant achievement for being recognized for two top sales awards two years running, really shows the strength of our personal travel managers sales focus on the cruise market,” said executive general manager Michael Gazal.
“This combined with our dedication to training and commitment to personal service, ensures personal travel managers can tailor make each client enquiry to the right cruise product that truly suits their holiday needs.”
Personal travel managers Luky Wilson, representative for Mount Eliza and Derek Harwood, representative for Forest Hill in Victoria joined Karen Farley, representative for Thornlands and Lisa Leary, representative for Cedar Creek in Queensland, Melanie Whyte representative for Devonport in Tasmania and national partnership office cruise strategy executive Lisa Humphries to celebrate the wins at the Cruiseco awards dinner, which closed the 15th national conference held at the Marriot Resort & Spa in Surfers Paradise.
The conference allowed a mix of scheduled seminars with casual exhibition time allowing delegates to spend time with Cruiseco’s cruise partners, as well as keynote speakers, panel discussions and interviews.
Wilson, who participated in the entire three-day conference, was inspired by Cruiseco’s product, as well as by keynote speaker Todd Sampson, writer and host of TV program Redesign my Brain.
“Todd was an absolutely fascinating speaker and a great way to conclude what was a wonderful three day event. I’ve met so many new cruise suppliers, have great new contacts and with the incentive to win the top 5 sales award for two years in a row, I can’t wait to get back to finding the perfect cruise for my clients.”
