Nine personal travel managers (PTMs) attended the invitation-only specialist luxury event, Luxperience, in Sydney last week, gaining firsthand knowledge of over 300 unique and inspiring luxury travel products that were showcased to 450+ high-end experiential travel buyers.

Melinda Rowe (representative for East Jindabyne), Annalize Troost (West Pennant Hill), Debbie Bean (Tarneit), Lea Burford (Torquay), Luke Vaughan (Kooyong), Melanie Carter (Scoresby), Michelle Levins (Forest Hill), Georgina Grandi (Wynnum) and Annette Fyfe (Victoria Point) gained valuable insights and networking opportunities across the three-day event and at the final night ‘It’s a Wrap’ party. TravelManagers executive general manager Michael Gazal also attended the Gala Awards dinner.

“The luxury market fits with [Travel Managers’] ethos of bespoke travel arrangements and going the extra mile for our clients,” said Georgina Grandi. “I can’t wait to tell my clients all about the incredible new and exciting holiday experiences I’ve learnt about.”

Annalize Troost enjoyed her first Luxperience event and, in particular, the exposure it gave her to a range of new suppliers and intriguing products from around the world.

“With just over a 50 percent increase in new suppliers attending this years’ event, I was impressed by the amount of new boutique and specialist suppliers. It’s this type of opportunity to gain expert firsthand information and knowledge on luxury destinations all under one roof that allows us to really impress our clients,” she said.

“This event is a tribute to the travel industry, which simply could not survive without the conduit between supplier and customer. Events like these are vital to keep the travel experience personal.”
